I did it!! I finally finished a pair of shorts! My dear friends, Kelly and Meredith helped me to understand the pattern today and I came home and tackled it. At first I sewed the back and front middle seams together so you couldn't open them. I was so mad I almost gave up. An encouraging email from Kelly convinced me to stick with it. Something clicked and I figured it out. They are butt-ugly on the inside and the hems are so off, but hey C4 doesn't care! HOORAY!!
